About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex electrical construction projects across mission critical, healthcare, and commercial sectors. This role requires deep technical knowledge of electrical systems, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. You will serve as the primary liaison between clients, design partners, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless project execution from preconstruction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full project lifecycle for electrical scopes on mission critical, healthcare, and commercial projects, typically ranging from $5M–$50M+.

  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and risk management.

  • Manage and mentor project engineers, assistant PMs, and field teams; foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and collaboration.

  • Work closely with estimators to develop accurate scopes, budgets, and value engineering options during preconstruction.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; serve as the primary project point-of-contact.

  • Ensure compliance with all project specifications, local/national electrical codes, QA/QC procedures, and safety standards.

  • Drive weekly project meetings, subcontractor coordination, RFIs, submittals, change management, and cost tracking.

  • Collaborate with field leadership to ensure manpower planning and productivity tracking meet project milestones.

  • Proactively identify issues and implement solutions to avoid schedule delays or budget overruns.

  • Oversee commissioning, testing, and project turnover activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 7–10+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects, with significant experience in mission critical (data centers), healthcare facilities, and/or large commercial buildings.

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems including power distribution, backup power, UPS systems, lighting, grounding, and controls.

  • Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and technical challenges.

  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools.
