Position Overview
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all electrical and wastewater construction operations for the Savannah branch. This role ensures projects are executed safely, efficiently, and profitably while driving business growth, operational excellence, and strong client satisfaction. The Branch Manager will lead teams, manage financial performance, build key customer relationships, and maintain a high-performance culture aligned with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Branch Operations Leadership

Oversee day-to-day operations of the Savannah branch, ensuring smooth execution of all electrical and wastewater construction activities.

Manage project pipelines, scheduling, resource planning, and workflow coordination across multiple active job sites.

Implement operational best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce risk.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting on project status, branch performance, production metrics, and operational KPIs.
Project & Field Management

Support project managers, superintendents, and field staff in planning, executing, and closing out projects.

Monitor project progress, quality control, contract compliance, and cost management.

Troubleshoot obstacles that may impact timelines, budgets, safety, or quality.

Ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

Conduct regular site visits to verify safety, productivity, and adherence to project plans.
People Leadership & Staffing

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, estimators, technicians, and field crews.

Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning to support business demands.

Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and ensure clear accountability across all roles.

Foster a high-performance, team-oriented culture grounded in safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Safety Leadership

Maintain a strong safety-first culture across all branch operations.

Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and industry best practices.

Conduct safety audits, enforce corrective actions, and support ongoing safety training.
Financial Management

Manage branch P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and margin management.

Review financial reports, analyze results, and implement adjustments to maximize profitability.

Ensure accurate billing, change order management, and financial controls across projects.
Business Development & Client Relations

Build and strengthen long-term relationships with customers, engineers, general contractors, vendors, and local partners.

Identify new business opportunities, support bid strategy, and collaborate with estimating teams on pricing and proposals.

Represent the company in the Savannah region as a trusted technical and operational resource.

Resolve client issues promptly, professionally, and in a manner that protects long-term partnerships.
Strategic Leadership

Contribute to company-wide strategic planning and regional growth initiatives.

Analyze market conditions and competitor activity to guide expansion and positioning in the Savannah market.

Develop and execute annual branch goals aligned with the company’s mission and growth objectives.
Qualifications
Required
-
5–10+ years of experience in electrical, wastewater, utilities, or industrial construction.

3+ years of leadership or operations management experience overseeing teams, budgets, and construction projects.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, wastewater infrastructure, construction sequencing, and field operations.

Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, forecasting, job costing, and overall branch financial performance.

Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.

Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Proficiency with project management and construction software tools.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.

OSHA 30, PMP, Master Electrician License, or other industry credentials.

Experience developing new markets or growing branch-level business units.
Physical Requirements

Ability to visit job sites, walk uneven terrain, and occasionally lift or move materials.
